Calf Rearing

Rearing management is often underestimated. However, it is widely recognized that calf performance today has a great impact on future milk yield. This applies to (goat) kids and lambs too.

Good rearing practices start from the moment the calf is born. The main goal in the first days of life is to keep the calf healthy. Even with optimal colostrum management, diarrhea can still occur due to a variety of reasons.
